Principal / Associate Sustainability Consultant

Position

Permanent, 39 hours a week

Minimum Qualification

The candidate should have a strong academic background in environmental, built environment or construction. 

At least 8-10 year of experience in a sustainability-related role within the construction industry.

Had previous positions in leadership and training of others.

Office

We run a hybrid working model whereby employees have the flexibility to work 3 days from either our main office in Whiteley, Fareham or our Bournemouth office and 2 days remotely. The role will require travelling as and when required for attendance at offsite meetings or site visits.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assisting with fee preparation associated with all sustainability input on a project.
  • Working alongside the   Project Managers   to establish the Energy and Sustainability requirements.
  • Drive business expansion by identifying new markets, partnerships, and revenue streams
  • Monitor project budgets and resource allocation
  • Develop Junior staff technical and personally.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Advise on up-and-coming changes to legislation or other good practice guidance.
  • Maintaining up to date knowledge of emerging technologies through continued personal development.
  • Lead project planning, scheduling, and execution.
  • Streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and improve productivity.
  • Work across all departments (MEP engineering, operations, finance, sales, marketing etc).
  • Provide technical input during cross-functional meetings.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and innovation.
