Sustainability Consultant / Physics Specialist

Minimum Qualifications
Shall have completed some form of further education in a related subject such as environmental, built environment or construction.
At least 1 year of experience in a sustainability-related role is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with sustainability services in the built environment and assessments such as SAP and SBEM. Knowledge of IES modelling would be
beneficial.
Office
We run a hybrid working model whereby employees have the flexibility to work 3 days from either our main office in Whiteley, Fareham or our Bournemouth office and 2 days remotely. The role will require travelling as and when required for attendance at offsite meetings or site visits.
Duties & Responsibilities
Inclusive of but not limited to:
- Conduct research on sustainability trends, legislation and best practices. Self-learning is essential and specific formal training will be provided where deemed appropriate.
- Assist in the development and execution of sustainability strategies. This will utilise software packages such as Elmhurst, IES and OneClick to inform energy and overheating strategies and Whole Life Cycle Carbon assessments.
- Support Sustainability Consultants in client meetings, workshops and other engagements.
- Be a ‘Champion of Knowledge’ in relation to SAP, SBEM and IES modelling and other low carbon assessment tools.
- Assist in the preparation of sustainability reports and communication materials.
- Attend seminars, workshops and courses to enhance knowledge and skills in sustainability.
- Any other responsibilities or tasks as assigned by the Sustainability Consultant / Associate Sustainability Consultant to assist with project delivery.
